Which LONO model?
Similar names do not mean the same construction. Start with the upper, fastening and sole, then check the fit of the exact model.
This comparison uses LONO’s published model information, not our own measured fit assessment or a performance guarantee.
- FLOWEveryday
- Knit upper with suede-effect overlays and a lace-up fastening. LONO’s everyday lifestyle model.
- FLOW 2Training
- Updated knit upper with TPU toe reinforcement and non-elastic laces. Part of LONO’s training range.
- FLOW STraining
- Reinforced knit upper with an extended heel sling. A more structured construction within the FLOW family.
- HYPETraining
- Double-knit mesh, TPU side reinforcement and a gusseted tongue. LONO positions HYPE for cross-training.
- WILDOutdoor
- Suede upper, protective toe bumper and a lugged rubber sole. LONO’s outdoor walking and hiking model.
- WILD LiteOutdoor
- Gusseted tongue and trail-style tread. LONO describes a canvas upper, but its published material specifications conflict. Upper material needs confirmation before launch.
- VERVEOutdoor
- Knit upper, TPU mudguard and a carbon rock plate. LONO positions VERVE for trail running; it has a different construction from WILD.
- EzyEveryday
- Knit slip-on design with a reinforced step-in heel collar, for customers who prefer easy everyday fastening.
- NOMAD OGEveryday
- Leather lace-up sneaker with a cork-and-foam insole. A different upper material from the knit FLOW styles.
- LITTLE WILDChildren’s
- Children’s canvas lace-up with reinforced toe and side areas and a lugged outsole. Check the child’s measurements against its own chart.
- SCHOOLSchool style
- Black knit upper with reinforced areas and a removable insole. Check the size range and your school’s uniform requirements.
Start with your feet,
not your usual size
A longer shoe can still be the wrong shape. Length, forefoot width and the space over your instep all matter.
Our measuring guide is powered by the BarefootBrit Fit System™. Our own LONO in-shoe measurements are not published on this page.
- Measure both feet. Record length and width while standing, wearing the socks you intend to use.
- Check the exact model’s chart. LONO’s sizing advice varies between models. Do not automatically carry your FLOW size across to WILD or NOMAD OG.
- Know what the numbers mean. Foot-length ranges and internal shoe measurements are different. Check the chart’s basis before adding toe allowance, so you do not count it twice.
- Ask when the chart is unclear. Send us your measurements and the model you are considering. We will explain what information is available, without promising a fit we have not verified.
What is the difference between LONO FLOW, FLOW 2, FLOW S and HYPE?
FLOW is positioned by LONO as an everyday lifestyle model. FLOW 2 adds TPU toe reinforcement and non-elastic laces; FLOW S uses a reinforced knit upper and extended heel sling. HYPE has double-knit mesh, TPU side reinforcement and a gusseted tongue. Compare construction and model-specific sizing rather than assuming they fit identically.
How do I choose my LONO size?
Measure both feet and use the chart for the exact model. Do not assume that one LONO size fits the same across the range. Check whether a chart describes foot length or internal shoe length before adding any toe allowance. Our measuring guide explains the difference; contact us if the chart is unclear.
Are all LONO shoes suitable for extra-wide feet?
A foot-shaped toe box does not establish a particular width or volume. We have not published our own measured LONO fit assessment here. Check the individual model’s width and internal measurements when available, or ask us before ordering.
What is the difference between WILD, WILD Lite and VERVE?
WILD uses a suede upper with a protective toe bumper and lugged outsole. LONO describes WILD Lite as a canvas alternative, but its published material specifications conflict, so the upper material needs confirmation. VERVE has a knit upper, TPU mudguard and a carbon rock plate, and is positioned by LONO for trail running. Disputed supplier stack-height and tread measurements are omitted here.
Are STAY WILD socks five-toe socks?
No. STAY WILD socks have a foot-shaped, single-compartment toe area. They are not socks with a separate pocket for each toe.
Can I add Earth or Enduro insoles to any LONO shoe?
Do not assume universal compatibility. Match the insole shape and size to the model and check whether it is intended to replace the original. Adding or stacking insoles reduces the space inside a shoe and can change its fit.
Can I order LONO from BarefootBrit Shop yet?
