Oz OverBoots - Frequently Asked Questions
What are barefoot shoes?
Barefoot shoes are footwear designed to let your feet move naturally, with wide toe boxes, zero-drop soles, and flexible construction that supports natural foot function.
What is a wide toe box?
A wide toe box means the front of the shoe is shaped to allow your toes to splay naturally, rather than being squeezed together. This improves balance, comfort, and foot health.
What does zero-drop mean?
Zero-drop means the heel and forefoot are at the same height, promoting natural posture and alignment. Most conventional shoes have a raised heel.
How do I transition to barefoot shoes?
Start by wearing them 1-2 hours per day and gradually increase over 2-4 weeks. Some soreness is normal as your foot muscles strengthen.
How do I find the right size?
Use the BarefootBrit Fit System on each product page. We measure every shoe's internal length in millimetres and match it to your foot measurements. Start with our step-by-step measuring guide for best results.
Do you offer free UK shipping?
Yes, we offer free UK shipping on orders over £130, with most orders dispatched the same day when placed before 12 PM.
What is your returns policy?
We offer 30-day returns. Please note that outbound and return postage are non-refundable, and we recommend tracked shipping for returns.
Can I get help choosing the right shoe?
Yes. Complete the Shoe Match Assessment for personalised suggestions, or reach out to our team for expert sizing advice. We are happy to help you find your perfect fit.
