Merrell Trail Glove 7 - Black Men's
Brand: Merrell
The Trail Glove 7 is Merrell's trail-ready barefoot shoe, offering slightly more protection than the Vapor Glove while maintaining a zero-drop, flexible platform. A FloatPro foam midsole adds just enough cushioning for longer trail runs and hikes over rocky terrain, while the Vibram Ecostep recycled outsole with 2.5mm lugs grips confidently on loose ground. The recycled mesh upper breathes well and drains fast, making it a versatile choice for warm-weather trail adventures.
Key featuresConventional shoes cushion and restrict. Barefoot shoes do the opposite: thin soles let your feet sense the ground, a wide toe box lets toes spread naturally, and a zero-drop sole keeps your posture aligned. Over time, this builds stronger feet and better body awareness. The Trail Glove 7 is an excellent transition shoe for runners new to barefoot, offering a touch more protection while still honouring the barefoot philosophy.

Sizing & Fit
Size range: EU 40-47 (approximately UK 6-12.5)
Merrell barefoot sizing generally runs true to size. The Trail Glove 7 has a snug but comfortable fit with a wide toe box for natural toe splay. If you're between sizes, size up for comfort room.
Powered by the BarefootBrit Fit System™ — we recommend allowing 8-12mm comfort room from your longest toe to the end of the insole. Not sure of your measurements? See our foot measuring guide for step-by-step instructions.
Materials & Care
Brush off loose dirt after each wear. Hand wash with lukewarm water and mild soap if needed. Air dry at room temperature only — do not machine wash, tumble dry, or place on radiators. Remove the insole to dry separately. Sprinkle baking soda inside overnight for odour control.

Email Us to Arrange a ReturnBarefoot shoe sizing works differently from standard high-street brands. Measuring your feet in centimetres is the essential first step to getting the right fit.
A simple 5-step process you can do at home with just a piece of paper, a pencil, and a ruler.
Adults need 0.8–1.2cm of space; kids need 0.8–1.5cm of growing room beyond their foot length.
Barefoot shoes have wide toe boxes, but width fitting is just as important as length for comfort.
Barefoot shoes give your feet room and ground feel. These training tools from The Foot Collective rebuild strength and mobility while your feet adapt: 2 minutes a day.
