A shared toe compartment can hold neighbouring toes against one another, leaving skin rubbing against skin. Soxsense five-toe socks give each toe its own fabric sleeve to help reduce direct toe-on-toe rubbing, a possible source of friction blisters. They do not guarantee blister prevention.
