Rayve Muddy Short
Description
The Rayve Muddy Short is an ultra-lightweight, short-shaft barefoot wellie for children, designed for wet weather and muddy outdoor play. Unlike traditional heavy rubber boots, it's flexible enough to let little feet move naturally while keeping them 100% dry.
Materials & Construction
- Upper: Ultra-lightweight synthetic rubber compound - fully waterproof with none of the weight of traditional wellies
- Shaft height: Short ankle-to-mid-calf profile (~12cm on size 24/25) for easy on-off and ankle freedom
- Lining: Smooth, fast-drying synthetic textile for moisture management
Sole & Feel
- Outsole: 5mm ultra-flexible slip-resistant rubber with a low-profile tread for grip on wet grass, mud, and slick surfaces
- Drop: 0mm (true zero-drop) for natural alignment
- Insole: Removable, flat textile insert - no arch support. Can be swapped for a thermal wool/fleece insole in colder weather

- Width: Medium to wider feet
- Toe box: Generous and wide for natural toe splay
- Instep: Normal to slightly higher - the wide entry shaft doesn't restrict
- Heel: Soft, non-rigid heel to prevent chafing
- Children's sizing: Dual sizes EU 22/23–32/33
Note: Due to the soft, high-grip compound, these wellies are not recommended for balance bikes, scooters, or braking with the toes, as drag forces can prematurely wear the sole.
Size Guide
Add 10–15mm to your child's foot length for growth and sock thickness. Dual sizing accommodates seasonal sock variations.

Care Instructions
- Cleaning: Do not machine wash. Rinse off mud with cold running water or wipe with a damp cloth
- Drying: Remove the insole to dry separately. Air dry at room temperature - never near heat sources or direct sunlight
- Protection: Occasionally treat with a rubber/wellie protection spray to maintain elasticity during storage

Care & Maintenance
Remove coarse dirt with a soft brush first. Wipe with a damp cloth and allow to air dry at room temperature. Do not machine wash or dry near heat sources. Treat regularly with an impregnating spray to increase durability and water resistance.
