From One Pair of Feet to Yours: The BarefootBrit Shop Story 👣
If you have ever wondered who is on the other end of your emails, packing your orders, or scouring the globe for that one specific pair of obscure boots, the answer is simple: it is just me.
I am Daniel Adams, and I started BarefootBrit Shop and B2Barefoot with a very clear mission. I wanted to move away from the traditional "profit at all costs" model and instead focus on what actually matters: quality, honesty, and the customer experience. This shop is not run by a boardroom of anonymous executives; it is run by one person who is obsessed with foot health and the incredible community that surrounds it.
Championing the Underdog
My goal has always been to make the barefoot world more accessible. While the big brands are great, there is a whole world of obscure brands and community classics that are often nearly impossible to find in the UK. I spend my time championing other small businesses and independent makers, bringing their craftsmanship to our shores so you have more choice and better quality.
I am truly happy to act as a bridge between these talented creators and the people who need their shoes. Whether it is a tiny workshop in Portugal or a performance brand in Denver, if they are doing things the right way, I want them on our shelves.
A One-Man Labour of Love
When you shop at BarefootBrit Shop, you are supporting a truly independent business. I handle every single part of the process myself. From the initial site creation and accounting to the customer service and hand labelling your parcels, it is a one-man operation from top to bottom.
I do not do this for the biggest possible margins; I do it because I believe in the products and I value the people who wear them. If you have a question about sizing, a worry about a fit, or just want to chat about the best socks for a Roman toe box, you are talking directly to the person who cares the most about getting it right for you.
